Breast Reconstruction

Following a mastectomy, women who decide to have reconstructive breast surgery usually have several options to choose from including saline implants and transverse rectus abdominis muscle (TRAM) flap procedures

Likewise, surgeons have a number of options available to support these sensitive procedures. ETHICON supplies a variety of tools to support reconstructive breast surgery including a human fibrin sealant that, as an adjunct, can achieve haemostasis in surgeries such as breast reconstruction, plus a variety of haemostatic gels, powders, and matrix meshes.

High-performing needles, absorbable and nonabsorbable sutures, antibacterial ETHICON Plus sutures, and a sterile, liquid topical skin adhesive are also available.
